Welcome To Brenda and George..... The Karmas

Ok.......not long in from the Tuesday Trampoline Club, the person I lift share with was poorly so they asked if I could do the run even though I did it last week, course I said yes..... but THERE ARE TWO DAM PARENTS IN THEIR HOUSE YA KNOW.... whats wrong with the father taking them...... tossers....

So yesterday I mentioned something that me and my Tom had bought :)....... omg how excited was we...... :) we have 2 new additions to our household.......

So, let me explain....... in this house over the years we have had MANY pets, from bought pets to saved pets like Eric, to pets that have had babies and we have kept cos I just couldnt bare to part with..... thats why once we ended up with 14 bunnies :)..... and 4 Cats with 13 kittens all born the same day......

Right, ya see, the rule in this house is..... NO SNAKES....... NO SPIDERS...... but almost anything else goes....... as you are probably aware my Jacob is so very desparate for a dog..... he loves dogs...... as do I, BUT I DONT DO DOG POO..... so unless we can get a poo-less dog that one is hard to match...... on saying that me matie Ann has this rescued Staffordshire bull terrier called storm.. and they might let her have a litter, and if that is the case then Ann will let Jacob have one.... gawds sake, thats all I need in this mad house......

Anyways, our new additions, that have made me coo and arrrhhh and talk in some sort of mental voice were picked up yesterday :)....... bloody hell they are the most cutiest sweet dear little vulnerable things EVER........

Well ya know I have this twice weekly trip to the reptile shop to pick up dead white mice for Eric and live crickets for Geoff... well one of the crickets had such a sweet face that I couldnt bare for him to be eaten by Geoff so I have kept him in a little tank :) and have called him Brian cos he looks a little like our postman.....ok ok I deviate....... so when Im in the reptile shoppie in Cowplain I look at the creatures there.... and most I wouldnt give a monkeys armpit for..... BUT, BUT, BUT in this cage thing was the most amazing thing EVER...... it not only caught my attention it captured all my senseable thoughts and lobbed them in the bin LOL

BUT...... you see....... these creatures cost between £120 ($240) and £380 ($760) fully grown and there is not way THAT captured anything lol...... I told me Tom about them and he said, oh mum they are well cool, I would love one to....... so we went on the internet to find a breeder local :) and voila..... bingo...... gave the bloke a ring and sure enough he said come round and have a butchers......

Ya see we already had a spare thingy that they go in.... just needed 100 quid for the heater and lights etc.... so we went to see this breeder of CHAMELEONS.... yep bloody real proper chameleons :).... only 8 weeks old .....

The bloke seemed to well like us and we came away with a male (george - after boy george and karma chameleons LOL) and a female (Brenda - just cos I think thats a funny name lol) Toms is the male and mine is the female.........

This is my Tom with Brenda LMFAO.......

Ya see the Bloke well liked our enthusiasum and our interest that we knocked him down on his prices and we got George and Brenda for only £65 ($130) the pair..... which me and Tom went halves on.....

Wish you could see these little creatures in real life, they are so small so cutie and so very fragile looking.........

This is Brenda :) now how can you not just fall in love with her lol....

So....... ya know what me and Tom are gonna do, if we successfully keep these alive...... we is gonna breed George and Brenda :) and have loads of Karmas about the place....... and flog them..... see always the business minds :)..... they can have up to 30-40 eggs a time..... I could just get Janet to sit on them to hatch them LOL

This is George being introduced to me computer LMFAO.....

We showed Eric who his new neighbours were to be :) he was banging his head against the glass trying to get at them lol..... he would eat them in just 2 swallows...... he can be a mean bastard sometimes....... so we let Eric out for a walk and he then was trying to get in the box of tiny crickets that I bought for Mr and Mrs Karma....

This is Eric :)........ we love Eric......... and he loves us LMFAO.......

So I tells me maties today about George and Brenda....... and one maties says....... why the hell did you call a bloody chameleon Brenda for...... oh wait, wait, dont answer..... who else but YOU would call a pet Brenda.....

I think I need to find some new friends, these ones just take the piss out of me almost daily ;)

Way to much Twaddle for a Tuesday.....

ps..... Janet - Eggs = 13 :)

Wait a second, you all those bunnies and kittens born ON THE SAME DAY! Madness!

I like the new Karma Chameleons, hope Eric doesn't get to 'em.

Marm the whole lot of em are great but...somewhere I missed what the frozen poor little mice are for. I was assuming they were for a snake but then you go and get all stuffy about those fine creatures. Why no snakes? I have Weaselboy's snake here, a ball python named Monty, of course. (And may I digress for a second and say That Baby Amina brought her parents over for dinner tonight and for the first time in years I had a little tosser sucking my pinky finger until she fell asleep - we were waiting for Mom to show- being a grandpa is fabulous!)
So Eric and the Karmas are grand but why the ban on our fine footless friends?

Oh any BTW Marmy, they don't consult you on becoming a grandparent. That's why i say I'm a bit premature!

Cool!! I think they are very cute, Marmite. I hear you about the poop-less dog. No way could I stand a dog in the house. Who but you to name a karma Brenda?! That's a funny one. My husband and I feed two stray cats that come up to our garage. The kids named the first one Jessie. She's the wild cat I used to blog about. If you were reading back then, there was another cat with her sometimes and my husband took to calling the poor thing 'ugly cat'. I have renamed him. His name is Bruce.

~~((Green))~ no ya loon, not the bunnies AND the kittens born on the same day...... 2 of me girl cats had their kittens on the same day, hows this for love and trust, they even had them in the same box AND they share cared for them :) they just jumped in the box and fed whomever was hungry :)...... I will dig out the photos...... after those litters I had me cats 'done' :).....x

~((Starr))~ smacking you well hard for even thinking of such a thing lol....... :) - come on, admit they are cute... x

~(((Shark)))~ :) the frozen dead white mice are what Eric eats, he needs one a day.... we get one out of the freezer (they are next to the lollies lol) and defrost it by dropping it in hot water for 5 minutes, then Eric just swallows it whole lol

and DONT YOU KNOW that if a snake gets out of its tank, it will eat your face off while you sleep... well thats what my maties hubby told me..... and he said they would eat my little old tail-less skankie cat...... and NO ONE eat her :)..... ok ok I like them but Im not to kean on touching them.... there, Ive said it....

Oh my, Amina sounds sooooooo soooooo dear :)..... I know there will be no consultation on the grannie bit..... :)- and when it happens there will be no prouder person then me :)... there has been babies in this house for near on 25 years lol..... I could do with a break before mine start having them lol...... xx

~((Lynn))~ I remember the cat in your garage ..... we have this real ugly cat that is not ours that comes and goes.... hope a snake dont eat it :) xx

Cool critters, Marmie. I love the tags you give them too. I've never had chameleons...or an Eric (he is a big fellow). Way cool. Do these chameleons change color? If so, I'll send some paisley scraps for the bottom of the cage.

Have a great day, and enjoy the new roomies. I'm sure the kids are having a time of it.

What't the kid's "tat" of?. They run in my family too...

Later.

Yup, I'm familiar with the thawing of frozen rodents. Weaselboy prefers to get them frozen and then thaw. Snakes won't eat a dead animal (or face) and so we get the "animation device" out, (a hangar,) and try and move the rat around until Monty strikes thus killing it.
I much prefer live rats if for no other reason that it's much easier, no muss, no fuss. So, when I can, I trap the wild little critters in this drafty old farm house and give them to Monty. When Pete catches them, he'll give to Monty too, after he's done playing with them. Silly old cat.
I'm not realy sure that face thing you matie's hubby told you is the truth. I think they only go for appendages, toes and fingers and such. Hmmmm, and such. damn I hope that's not true.
Actually they simply go find someplace warm so when Monty gets out I can find her under the wood stove. Had a friend whose husband's 7 foot python would go to the water bed and curl up there. She woke up one time and had a snake all curled up with here.Still has her face, I believe.

Wow. You're gonna have quite the zoo in that household (as if teenage boys didn't make the house into a zoo as i were).

I had a couple Anoles when I was a kid. We called them chameleons, but they weren't. They only cost about $5 though. Their names were Herbert and Jane. I wrote a story of their capture and escape from a department store when I was like 9. Ahh what memories.

Don't try and grab them by the tails.

~((Foolie))~ they are real cute, we didnt think they would be quite so small... well we did get Brenda to turn a dark sort of purple... but we aint sure if its cos George was giving her the eye.... LOL@paisley - my Jacob has already put them on rainbowed striped paper lol.... they are just real fasinating to watch with their marty Feldman eyes...

Eric is only about a foot long without his tail :) - we loves Eric, we saved him from certain death.... that besides his adventures behind the radiator that night..... god that story was funny...

I'll get better pics of Toms Tats. he has the most amazing japenesee dragon on his back and has one half sleeve complete(as of last week) and the outline of the other sleeve..... half sleeves so that when he wears a smart shirt they dont show..... he did a 4 hour session last week to finish off his right arm, its all japenesse masks and octopus' and things :) - he has waited til he is 21 before getting any done so he was SURE they was the ones he wanted, where as my Ben got a few done when he was 18 and is now in the process of getting them changed into other things.....

I, myself only have two little ones.... :) xxxxxx

~((Lora))~ :) welcome back... LOL course she dont, she speaks well 'Pompeyish' mixed with 'ampsherish' like what I does LOL..... xxx

Remembering to send Wendy the body of Brenda or George if they should peg it LOL xxx

~(((Shark))))~ :) ok, I read your post this morning and low and behold if I didnt see me maties hubby over the school this morning....... Oye I said, I wanna word with you...... I told him that you had said that snakes DONT eat peoples faces off when they sleep if they escape...... he laffed so loud that people was blank staring..... he laffed and laffed and laffed..... then called me a bloody dinlo LMFAO...... so I punched him well hard in the arm, as did me matie lmfao.....

I do have a scarey snake story that happened up our nursery one summer, scared the poo out of me, and made me realise me then hubby was a right bloody sissy lol..... we do have snakes here you know :) - ok ok they are only adders but if ya young or old they can give ya quite a turn......

We use to have a pet rat called 'rat' LOL...... my cats was well scared of it..... RIP Rat..... Shark you live in such a wonderful place, old house, barn, land, rats snakes lol - say no to pythons curls up ANYWHERE.... I would be scared it would eat one of me minded kids lol........

And I get paid for those, so if anything let it be one of me lads LOL

~((Burdock))~ welcome back from your travels..... aint never heard of arseholes before lol oh read that wrong :) - Anoles....

We have a 4 foot fish tank in this room which aint had fish in for a while, well not since the miniture red lobsters climbed up the heater and out a gap and me cat was found crunching on them ...... Jacob I noticed spent about 2 hours yesterday cleaning it all out and scrubbing it all.......he THINKS a snake is going in there LMFAO...... or some sort of other reptile........ jebus.... whats going on all of a sudden.... :) xx

~((sidenote))~ hey you... well we dont actually pick them up cos they look so tiny and fragile so we just put our hands near and they climb on :)...... cant be having no tail-less Karma, we already have a bloody skankie tail-less cat....... :) x
